Instructions
Using a pie plate or a pizza pan, press ground beef into the bottom of the pan to form a 1/4 inch to 3/4 inch thick crust, depending on your preference. Bake at 350 degrees for about 15 minutes or until meat is no longer pink. Remove from the oven and drain drippings from the meat. I sometimes use paper towels to help soak the drippings up. Top with pepperoni, fresh basil, chopped garlic, onion slices, some thin slices of fresh tomato, dried Italian seasoning and any other cooked, low carb pizza toppings and lots of shredded mozzerella cheese. Return to 400 degree oven and bake until cheese is hot and bubbly. Top with grated parmesan cheese and serve. Serves 2 - 4
