A Few
lean ground beef chuck
scallions
chopped flat-leaf parsley
fresh lemon juice
Soy sauce
salt and pepper
extra-virgin olive oil
sliced ripe tomatos( optional)


Chopped Steak

Instructions

Gently combine ground beef, scallions, parsley, lemon juice and soy sauce in a bowl. Season with salt and pepper. Form into 2 patties approx. 3in in diameter and 1 1/2 in thick. Heat olive oil in skillet over medium heat. Cook the patties for 5 min. on the first side, turn and cook for 3 min. on the second side for medium rare( Longer for well-done) Brush or baste the patties on the second side with some soy sauce. Serve immediately, optionally with sliced tomatoes
